Want to read the Exegeses Bible on your iPad, Nook or Kindle?
Here's how:
Here's step by step instructions on how to do it for the iPad. (I just did this in 15 mins on my iPad 2 and it is truly awesome! Should work equally well on iPad 1 or 2 and iPhones.)
For instructions for Kindle and Nook or other PDF compatible devices, please go to the bottom of this article.
PLEASE READ this page in it's entirety before proceeding. You are also welcome to print it for your convenience and reference.
NOTE: #1 - If you want to also view the Exegeses Bible on your other Apple products (iTouch, iPhone, etc.) or any other application enabled device (another smart phone or tablet), as long as you can download the applications that allow you to view a PDF document, you should be fine.
#2 - Once you purchase and download this Exegeses Bible PDF file, you are welcome to use it on as many of YOUR devices as you like. You can then use it on your computer, your iPhone and your iPad if you wish, without having to purchase multiple copies. Please no sharing outside of YOUR immediate family. Thanks
If you have an iPad (or other application enabled device), you must download the Exegeses Bible as a PDF ebook. It is super easy, works great and the apps to do it are FREE!
Note: There is not just ONE way to do this. But this is how I did it for free on my Apple iPad and iPhone. Feel free to choose the best way for your situation and your device.
Step 1 - Purchase the Exegeses Bible and download the PDF file to your computer. Save this file wherever you can find it. (Like - My Documents, etc.)
Click this link to Purchase the Exegeses Bible
(NOTE: You will want to purchase Option #2 for PDF download of the Exegeses Bible. To download the Exegeses Bible for use on your iPad, or any other PDF capable devices, you only need to purchase and download the PDF file just once.
Step 2 - From your iPad or iPhone, go into your App Store and search for and then download any of these FREE iPad Apps:
1. PDF-Notes FREE for iPad - works really well.
2. Evernote - which is my favorite app for all my digital storage needs.
NOTE: If you haven't seen the Evernote App for iOS and Android devices, you are missing a great app to store all your digital stuff. On Evernote you can store, manage and find all your digital notes, to-do lists, recipes, documents, pictures and any type of files. You can even easily scan important docs right into it.
There is a FREE version of Evernote and a paid version that gives you lots more options. Check it out here. When you sign up for a FREE account, you get 1 month of Evernote's Premium service for FREE.
I have used it for years to keep all my Spiritual thoughts and notes the Lord gives me, and even using it now to write a book.
3. Dropbox - for iPad
(As you will see, there are many PDF readers to choose from.)
Step 3 - Open the app Dropbox and follow the instructions to get set up with an account and login.
Step 4 - Open Dropbox and copy the file - Exegeses Bible 1 into Dropbox. I clicked on the Exegeses Bible file and dragged it into Dropbox. Once it has been downloaded, you will see it on the list menu to the left.
Step 5 - Open PDF-Notes Free for iPad and it should automatically ask if you want to link Dropbox to PDF-Notes Free. Say Yes, and login in.
Step 6 - Download the Exegeses Bible 1 file onto PDF-Notes for Free from Dropbox. Let it download fully before opening.
You are done and now ready to view the Exegeses Bible on your iPad. What a Blessing!
Do yourself a favor and read the PDF-Notes User Guide, it is very helpful. You can do alot with this free app.
Quick Helps: To go directly to a specific book of the Bible, instead of flipping page by page, touch the screen at the bottom of the page and you'll see a open book with a red bookmark on it. Click this icon and you will open up the Outline page which allows you to quickly choose the book or page you want to go to.
Both Dropbox and PDF-Notes have user guides that should answer most of your questions. I am NOT an expert in either of those apps, so please direct your questions to the developers of those apps.
For other ways to read PDF files on an iPad, just Google your question (like: How to read pdf files on an iPad) and you should come up with many other ways to do the same thing.
Instructions for Nook, Kindle and other ebook readers:
For use on Nook, Kindle and other ebook readers, first check if the device is capable of reading PDF documents. If it is, there should be instructions on the device user guide to show you how to load and read PDF documents. I don't have a Nook or Kindle, so I don't have first hand knowledge, but you can use the links below to get easy instructions to get you moving in the right direction.
